This year's....
This year's.....
This year's discovery: I only discovered it yesterday, but spinning shoes is the best invention ever!
This year's mistake: Tell Jessica that the Marriott we were staying in was lovely. How disappointed she was when there were dusty carpets and mold in the bathroom!
This year's most talked about: Anders Svensson's car? Anyone remembers why he actually got it, or only the discussions about the tax and the discrimination towards the female players?
This year's party: It has to be Jamie's 30th bday party. I still can't believe that we managed to keep the Istanbul trip and the party secret!
This year's sweeties: Vicky and Dicky. They should really share this year's couple, but I had to fill this space as well.
This year's Mr Nice Bum: Joe Hart. Only because his shorts are far too tight.
This year's people-I-can-live-without: Moaners. The world would be a better place without them.
This year's I-think-I-know-more-than-I-actually-do: My dad. I don't think he'll ever leave this spot.
This year's....
This year's discovery: The world didn't go under. Who would have thought?!
This year's mistake: Letting Nichlas cook in my kitchen. Such a mess afterwards...
This year's comment: "Jag älskar mitt liv!" - Charlie Skoglund
This year's song: All I want is you - Barry Louis Polisar
This year's group: Kent. They have sneakily moved back into my playlists. Don't know why I stopped listening for a while.
This year's most talked about: Our wedding. By me and quite a few other people
This year's party: I can't say the wedding party because I repeat myself. The release party for the Galaxy SIII at Fotografiska was pretty good!
This year's idiot: The lady who lives in our building who puts up notes about everything and who made the annual meeting about 1,5 hrs longer than needed.
This year's most wonderful person: Ida. Always there for me.
This year's sweeties: Alex, Finn and Adam. The lovely nephews!
This year's Mr Nice Bum: Well, if we remove Nice, it is Mats Stark. Only because he told someone that he has no bum, you can't see where the back ends and the legs begin.
This year's biggest moaner: Not mentioning any by name, but there are a lot at work unfortunatley.
This year's disappointment: That the world didn't end, for the people who climbed up on that mountain.
This year's look-alike: My dad and the Fisherman's Friend dude
This year's christmas present: All the UNICEF gifts I got
This year's couple: Sofia och Axel. Så söta ihop!
This year's people-I-can-live-without: People that push you out of the way on the tube.
This year's I-think-I-know-more-than-I-actually-do: I think my dad will have to make it back here.

Wedding and honeymoon
So, we have finally made it home and managed to get most things done so I thought I'd do a summary over the last two weeks.
The Wedding
Due to the extreme planning, everything was really calm the last few days before, apart from that Jamie's ring turned out to be too big but even that got sorted fairly easily. Even on the day of the Wedding I was complletely calm until just before 3pm when it was a bit short of time, but calmed down again just in time to get into the car and I realised: Oh shit. I have to read my vows in front of lots of people (and I hate to talk in front of people). When we got out of the car and got my dress sorted and the guitarrist started to play "All I want is you" (soundtrack from Juno) and my lovely bridesmaid and I started walking up to the temple I felt the biggest rush of happiness rushing over me and I could not stop shaking. Once I reached my spot next to Jamie he tried to say little things to calm me down which was very sweet, but to ask the question: Are you sure you still want to do this? was probably not the best thing to ask as I started to think that he'd changed his mind ;) Our registrar was excellent and it was a relaxed ceremony, the guitarrist played "Better together" by Jack Johnson (if anyone ever need an excellent performer, I can recommend Magnus!). When it was time for me to read my vows they blew out of my hand and I kind of crawled on the ground to get them back, but that was a nice little extra! I struggled hard not to cry and I took some very long pauses but managed to finish them and then Jamie said the most lovely words back to me. We walk out from the temple whilst "I'm yours" by Jason Mraz was played and the guests were blowing soap bubbles. After the ceremony we stayed and took some pictures. I still haven't seen them, but I am confident that Robban did an amazing job! After that we arrived at hotell Villan and had a welcome toast and my dad made a lovely speech and a bit of.. singing. Everyone seemed to enjoy it anyway! After that there was dinner, drinks, more awesome speeches by Stew, Martin and Steve. Then we were cutting the cake and Jamie wouldn't let me have any, no surprise there! After the cake we had the first dance to "The Girl" by City and Colour and the music was messing up a bit but worked out fine in the end!
We had amazing weather all day and the day was magical. A massive thank you to: Mia, Mike, Ida, Stew, Iona, Hamad, Robban, Magnus, Jamie, mum, dad, Steve, Helen, Hotell Villan and everyone else who I might have forgotten. Thank you everyone who came as well!
The UK
We spent a few days in the UK and mainly relaxed all week which was very nice so we could spend time with the family. On the 11th we had another Wedding party which was amazing, a very big thank you Helen and Steve who organised that! Was great to see so many friends there.
The Honeymoon
As you might know, we went to Venice and it was lovely, warm and sunny! Upon arrival the receptionist said: I can see you are here on your honeymoon, congratulations! With that she upgraded us to a suite and gave us free passes to the spa. I thought it was Stew who had told them but it turned out it was Jamie! Still surprises me... When we arrived to the room someone knocked on the door with a big bouquet of flowers that Jamie had ordered for me with gerberas that were im my wedding bouquet and lilies that are my favourites. About 5 mins later it knocks on the door again and a bottle of champagne and strawberries dipped in chocolates were delivered. Now, this time it was Stew, can't thank you enough. It was lovely! Then all of a sudden Jamie tells me to close my eyes and he gets something out of the bag which I open and it's a pair of diamond earrings that match my engagement ring. He was told my a colleague that you have to give eachother something the morning after the wedding as it's tradition, but I knew he wouldn't know about this so I didn't mention it, made me look like a right cheapskate...! They were lovely anyway. We saw lots of things in Venice, ate a lot of pizza, pasta, ice cream and tiramisu so I'm lucky I still fit into my clothes. Our hotel had a pool on the roof which was very nice as we had a couple of relaxing days as well.
That's about it. Happy to be home and I am now officially Mrs Watkins as the letter from the tax authorities came through. Thank you again everyone who made those last two weeks so amazing.
So many babies...
Everyone is having a baby, there is a serious babyboom in my circle of aquaintances, friends and family (well actually, Jamie's family). Which is awesome, but I swear, a year ago I barely knew anyone my age who had kids and now there seems to be loads. Is this a serious sign I'm getting old?
Either way I'm so happy for you all! For the ones I shouldn't mention due to different reasons, for Sofie and Robban, for Gemma and Iain, for Emelie and Oscar, for Marina and Kim, Laura and Mark etc etc. I'm telling you, the list is endless! Considering I love babies, this is heaven for me! And I don't even have to gain weight or squeeze one out myself. I am expecting one of them to be called Malin though. I mean, out of like... 10 babies, there is a good chance.
Glad midsommar!
Happy
Also started to work at Samsung which is actually awesome. It is so much to do and my colleagues are really nice! Unfortunatley I got a stomach bug yesterday and have to stay home today. The only positve thing with a stomach buh is the weight loss! I have dropped 1kg in 2 days! It will probably be put on in no time though.
All in all, life is good and I am happier now than I've been in a long time.
Sweden
Have lived in Stockholm for 6 weeks now and I am really enjoying it. Considering since I moved here the weather has been freezing cold, I'm sleeping on a mattress in Ida's dining room and have a bookcase as my wardrobe and have found out I can only stay at the company I'm working until end of April - I think it's pretty good! I love having my old friends around though. It's so nice to be able to call one of them and meet up. And my sister of course, it's nice to live near her again! Friends in UK - don't think for a second that I don't miss you, but it's nice to be able to talk about "the old times" for once.
Althought living without Jamie is awful. Even though I have Ida around me most evenings and weekends I constantly feel lonely. Hopefully not for long. Viewing a flat on Wednesday which looks very nice and can move in 1st May. Fingers crossed!
Going back to the job scenario. It's not as bad as it sounds..! I found out on Tuesday last week and by Wednesday I had an interview set up and awaiting confirmation on another one. So I'm not too concerned really!
Anyhow. I don't have much more news. You can be sure to find out when I get somewhere to live, I can't wait! And it's not the sleeping arrangements really, it's the lack of space. None of my clothes look well enough to wear really because they're so creased from being pushed into the little cupboard doors :P I shall not complain though, Ida is a top hostess and I am really grateful for being able to stay here, considering I know I'm not easy to live with.
That's about it. Enjoy.
I survived
Mr Ockley was there today as well, so it's not because of the sunrise, because it was the thickest fog ever today! Sorry Sara!
It's Stew's leaving dinner tonight, we should be in Horsham by now but Jamie isn't even home yet. So, sorry Stew that we're late!
The link
Anyhow. Another day at work done, went alright. Got to speak to my favourite Norwegian, I think we're bonding. Going to Jamie's parents to have dinner and spend some time with his sister Iona as she goes back to Dubai tomorrow.
Apart from that, to follow on from last night, I don't mind that Lucie got voted off. She pissed me off by trying to be like Stacey. Don't misunderstand me though, I still can't stand the ugly twins.
Now I will do some excercise and watch Neighbours. Crazy times.
Starting again
Only problem is, I don't have a very exciting life. I get up just after 6am in the morning to go to work. Arrive at work 7.30, do 8 hours work and drive home, arrive home at 5, probably doing some cleaning/cooking/washing up and normally tend to watch Neighbours. I know, it's so sad. And the saddest part is, I go to bed like... 10pm at the latest. But I will try to write some more exciting stuff!
At least I have good friends to spend my weekends with (and too be fair, I enjoy every second Jamie and I spend at home in the weeks so I'm not too bothered!). My favourite moments are when Stew calls me a nazi collaborator and Iain calls me Sven. You can't have everything in life!
Anyhow, enough about that. It was Steve's 60th birthday party last night (Jamie's dad), I was doing the bar. I.e. pouring drinks into glasses, felt very important! Had some people from Scotland visiting as well which was very nice!
Will get ready to watch the xfactor now, go Danyl! Or Olly.... Either of them is fine!
